Couldn't get a table since I didn't make a reservation. I did a Togo order and it was delicious! I got the Moto with pepperoni. Super tasty

Service: would've liked to have been refilled more frequently with water, but I drink water at a frightening pace- not a big deal. Just ask; they'll happily refill your water glass. Food: Brussels sprouts- surprisingly NOT a hot dish. The group was mixed on their reception of this one. Once it's in your mouth it's much more like a flavorful, hearty, complex salad. I loved it. Two pizzas: One potato and one signature egg pizza (forgot the names, sorry! You can figure it out...) The group agreed universally that the potato pizza was a highlight, which is saying a lot, because we also very much enjoyed the tomato pizza with the egg on it. Tremendous flavor. Crust to die for. Please come eat this pizza. Dessert: Got this ricotta, cheesecake, Fuyu persimmon thing. Cake itself, yeah, wow, holy moly what a treat. Extra stuff on it? Didn't add too much. Maybe we got a subpar persimmon. Tasty for sure, but not great to the same degree as everything else. What a pleasant surprise from a place we'd never seen or heard of before tonight.

Great place. The perfect small restaurant, great fresh pizza, Caesar dressing was incredible, and my son, well he loved the pizza. We will comeback to try other things

I tried the potato pizza. It was good but not drive across the city good. The "deviled egg" were okay. It's a bold combination, the fish and egg, but I wasn't a fan. The arugula in this also didn't make sense to me. However, their ricotta cheesecake was super yummy!!! It was very light unlike a traditional cheesecake.

Gialina is becoming one of my favorite Californian-Italian spots, especially for thin crust pizza. I don't think I have had a single item from their menu that I did not like, and they have pies to cater to all. With the appetizers, their eggs diaovla is a favorite. The hit of salt from the anchovy, the spice from the Calabrian chile oil... its incredible. Their Brussels sprouts salad is to not be missed either, when it's available to the season. In terms of pizza, Im normally not fond of pepperoni pizza -- but I like Gialina's a lot, as it's drizzled with hot honey and not greasy at all. They have an excellent mushroom pizza with arugula, and, I found the margherita pizza (a true test in simplicity) to be perfectly executed. Their website is also abundantly clear, making it easy to book reservations. They also clearly state that tables typically have 1.5 - 2 hrs, depending on how busy they are (and the interior is small). I will certainly be back, it's such a wonderful place to have dinner.

Really great pizza with a crispy, chewy crust cooked to perfection (got that "leoparding" as the pizza geeks call it) and a bunch of different pies ranging from traditional NY style to a great looking lamb and sumac topping we'll be back to try. We also had SUCH a great cheesecake for dessert. And, the wine list is well appointed with great notes on every glass and bottle, the espresso coming out with our neighbors' dessert smelled great, and the folks working here were soooo nice and so fast to swing by the table to ask if we needed anything. Cozy and friendly inside, full of cheerful locals - a great place for a Saturday date or a quick meal on a weeknight. Maybe my new #1 favorite pizza place in SF. We'll be back over and over!

A cute spot for dining in with a friend. We ordered the Brussel sprouts which was probably some of the best Brussel sprouts I've had. I loved the combination of mint, cilantro and parmasean with the cold salad. Very unique and delicious. The pepperoni pizza had a thin crispy crust and was cut into large slices. The comfort of pizza and Brussel sprouts hit the spot for us for dinner. We were seated quickly and the water refills were consistent! Great service and a great spot.

It was a midweek dinner with friends one of whom was visiting from out of town. This place was perfect since it is across the street from BART! It seemed so low key that we missed its sign but the experience & food. was anything but...Two of us arrived 15 minutes early & waited outside. This gave us a chance to chat with the host. He said that the heirloom tomatoes are very sweet, in season & special so any pie with it would be truly special. Inquiring about the vegetarian options for all of us, he recommended that we substitute mushrooms for the BLT pizza pie, again highlighting the heirloom tomatoes. He was so right! We had Brussel sprouts, Burrata, Caesar Salad and grilled cauliflower to complete the meal. It was filling but with the "I'm stuffed!" feeling. They also a wide selection of brews & spirits. Our server recommended a couple and a non-alcoholic. These paired with our food great! Service? Superb!

Super great spot in glen park. Super crowded even on a weekday night, but ultimately was an easy reservation and the food and the service were truly excellent. Really unexpected carsar was flavorful and delicious and the meatballs were super meaty. Kids loved the pizza and it was enough for lunch the next day. So good.
